'Seinfeld's Wayne Knight Looks Nearly Unrecognizable While Showing Off Weight Loss on Gym Outing

While his famous Seinfeld character wasn't exactly known for being a pinnacle of health and fitness, it seems Wayne Knight is committed to staying in shape in real life.

Beloved for his iconic role as Jerry Seinfeld's neighbor—and rival—Newman, Knight was recently photographed working out in Los Angeles at a gym called The Exercise Coach.

In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, Knight wore a navy blue polo shirt, black drawstring pants, and black athletic shoes as he put a weight machines to good use. While walking through the parking lot, the 69-year-old actor carried a reusable blue grocery bag printed with lemons—and flashed a big smile driving away in his luxury SUV.

Knight, whose career in Hollywood spans 40 years, is best known for appearing in 45 of Seinfeld's 180 episodes as Newman, starring alongside Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards. However, he has a many other notable credits to his name.

While still on Seinfeld, he also appeared on 3rd Rock from the Sun with John Lithgow, Kristen Johnston, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and has had numerous unforgettable guest roles on shows including Hot In Cleveland, Law & Order: SVU, Narcos, Bones and That 90s' Show.

But Knight's body of work isn't limited to the small screen. His most memorable film appearances include Dirty Dancing, Jurassic Park, Space Jam, Rat Race, and Cheaper by the Dozen. He's also an experienced voice actor, making his mark in such popular animated features as Hercules, Tarzan and Toy Story 2.
