See Steve Harvey's Priceless Reaction to Sherri Shepherd & Shaq on 'Family Feud'

Celebrity Family Feud is officially back for the holiday season, and Steve Harvey is ready to help famous families face off for the chance to win money for charity. But one thing he didn't expect to see? Sherri Shepherd's reaction to meeting her competitor Shaquille O'Neal.

The daytime TV host and the basketball legend's families faced one another on the hit show's December 4 episode, and Steve had to bring Sherri and Shaq up first as a way to kick off the game. As the duo went to stand at their respective podiums with buzzers, it looked like Steve would start the first round the way he usually does on Family Feud. As he prepared to read the question that 100 people surveyed with answers, Sherri paused Steve to do something he certainly didn't see coming.

"Can I shake his hand?" Sherri asked Steve in a clip posted on X (formerly Twitter).

"Yeah," Steve replied.

Upon getting the green light, Sherri rushed over to Shaq to give him a huge hug. As the two embraced, Steve couldn't get over how big their height difference was (Sherri is 5'1" while Shaq towers over her at 7'1"). Although he initially laughed, Steve also realized Sherri wasn't planning on letting go of Shaq anytime soon.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey — we got a game to play, Sherri!" he exclaimed, leading her to run back to her initial spot.

And that was only the beginning of their antics. Throughout the whole show, the two and their families had Steve cracking up.

Just like Steve, fans couldn't get enough of Sherri and Shaq interacting in this kind of manner. "I was cracking up! I really enjoyed the show last night!" one person wrote on X. "Not Sherri flirting with Shaq?!?" another remarked. "Celebrity Family Feud with Shaq and Sherri has definitely been entertaining 😂😂," a different viewer simply added.

Even though Sherri was charming Shaq, it wasn't enough for her to eventually win this episode of Celebrity Family Feud. Shaq's family not only made it to the Fast Money round, but they also managed to win $50,000 for his non-profit, the Shaquille O'Neal Foundation, to help under-served youth tap into their greatest potential.
