Mark Consuelos has had a lot of jobs in his acting career... and he's not afraid to remind David Schwimmer of one that involved him as well.
The actor was a guest on Live With Kelly and Mark on January 7, where he was promoting his new TV series Goosebumps: The Vanishing. As David, Mark and Kelly Ripa discussed the impact he made as Ross Geller on Friends, Mark decided he'd clue David in on a little fun fact about the show. As it turned out, Mark guest starred on the season 7 episode "The One With Chandler's Dad." He played a police officer who stopped Ross and Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston) on the freeway for speeding, and he wanted to see if David remembered the two working together.
"How is your Friends trivia?" Mark asked David in a clip posted on Instagram. "You think you're pretty good?"
"I'm really bad at it," David honestly replied.
"OK — watch a little clip," Mark responded. "I want you to name the actor in the scene."
When David realized he and Mark had in fact been on set together back in the day, he couldn't help but clap at the surprise memory. What's more, David had the perfect response to show just how much he couldn't recall the moment over two decades after the episode first aired on television.
"Oh my god," David exclaimed in shock, amid Mark's laughter.
"The sexual chemistry between you two was palpable in that scene," Kelly joked.
Naturally, seeing this hilarious exchange from Mark and David had viewers cracking up — and they made sure to comment about it online.
"😂 so funny," one person wrote on Instagram. "Hahahaha one of my favorites scenes 😂❤️," another penned. "Everything in that scene is perfection," a different follower added.
Needless to say, we need to see Mark and David back on screen together in a new project... where both will remember the other being there!
