The reality series — which premiered on Sept. 6 — follows the lives of the Mormon moms that make up the viral TikTok MomTok group as they deal with the aftermath of the “soft-swinging" sex scandal that made headlines in 2022.

TikTok star and MomTok founder Taylor Frankie Paul sent shockwaves through the community in June 2022 when she announced her divorce from her ex-husband Tate Paul. Taylor made the announcement in a TikTok Live as she revealed the “soft-swinging” she and her friends — including some from within the MomTok group — participated in that led to the end of her first marriage.

The series also follows the lives of MomTok members Demi EngemannJennifer Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mikayla Matthews, Whitney Leavitt and Mayci Neeley as they navigate the scandal that shook up their lives and the sisterhood.

There are several loose ends that fans are left to grapple with at the end of season 1: With Whitney’s departure from MomTok, what will be her next move? Will Jennifer still be a part of MomTok now that she’s moved? What's going on with Taylor and Dakota? What exactly is in store for the rest of the remaining MomTok members now that they've blown up?
