The secret beauty trick Meghan Markle learnt from Diana
While all eyes have been on Meghan Markle’s budding baby bump, it seems we may have missed some other subtle changes the Duchess has been making to her appearance.
Adopting a beauty trick that Princess Diana was known for, the Duchess of Sussex recently got an itty-bitty haircut so small that many didn’t even notice.
The idea is to keep the haircut so subtle that it never distracts from the work they do as members of the royal family.
While appearing at the Remembrance Day Sunday service, eagle-eyed beauty fans suspected that the soon-to-be mum freshened up her looks with some shorter, recently chopped layers around her face.
The beauty hack began after fans and the media became so fixated with Princess Diana’s looks, that whenever something changed, it “became front-page news,” according to her hairstylist Richard Dalton.
So in order to gradually shorten her hair into the iconic brushed back pixie-cut, Diana would get secret haircuts on a regular basis.
“We had to be very careful,” hairstylist Dalton previously told Town & Country.
“We had to do it one-fourth of an inch at a time over several weeks.”
As the royals of this generation under constant media watch, it’s likely that this beauty trick is just one of the ways Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton maintain their timeless royal elegance and iconic style.
