SAS: Roxy Jacenko calls Candice Warner 'delusional' after spat
Roxy Jacenko has stamped out any potential for reconciliation with her former friend, Candice Warner, following their nasty spat on SAS Australia.
The PR queen went as far as calling the Ironwoman “delusional” for thinking that they might mend their broken relationship and become pals again.
The pair agreed to go toe-to-toe in a boxing match in episode one of Channel 7’s gruelling reality TV show but Roxy maintains Candice didn’t play fair.
“Someone who carries on punching you when your back is turned, and then sacks you some two weeks later as management after four years of hard work and support would need to be delusional to think I would want to be friends,” Roxy, 40, told Daily Mail on Wednesday.
Earlier that same day Candice, 35, attempted to extend an olive branch of sorts during a chat with Kyle & Jackie O, revealing there were ‘no dramas’ on her end.
“Now that time has passed … it was never an intention, and I’d never want to lose a friend over something like this,” she said.
“I’m sorry she feels like this.”

‘No longer friends’
Roxy, who quit SAS six hours into filming, revealed to Kyle & Jackie O several weeks ago that she no longer considered Candice a friend after the pair were forced to fist fight on camera.
“You know why I never hit back? She's my mate and I'm not going to smack [her] in the face for other people's entertainment,” she explained.
Roxy went on to say that she reached out to Candice after filming the show in August in hopes of repairing the friendship, however instead of moving on from the fight, Candice fired Roxy as her manager.
“No, she sacked me instead,” Roxy said.
“People will always let you down. I believe after what I did for Candice that it was a real smack in the face, pardon the pun.”
Candice later refuted Roxy’s claims that she refused to engage in the fight, instead saying that the mum-of-two tried and failed to ‘land a punch’.
“Let’s just say we know what we were getting ourselves into and there was an opportunity before the fight to pull out,” she told Nova FM’s Fitzy and Wippa.
