As the weather gets warmer, it's time to release our feet from the sneakers and slippers they've been hiding in all winter. Here are this season's trends, and where to get them.
Comfy
If you've spent several months in lockdown this year, then a comfy, slipper inspired sandal is the perfect way to ease yourself back into everyday life - while keeping your feet in their comfort zone.
These Verali Xyclone Natural Sandal, $59.95, have a moulded sole and raffia style upper. The Trent Nathan Summer Sandals, $99, are super comfy, with double buckled toe bands for a bit of glam.
Lace-ups
If you're after some barely there sandals, look to leather lace-ups this year. They're slinky and romantic - and look great with denim shorts or maxi dresses.
These Siren Sava sandals, $149.95, in tan, have a leather upper, tie-up straps and a round toe. Novo's Torna sandals in black, $49.95, are a great non-leather alternative that give the same sort of look.

Mules
If you want to bring some brightness to your feet, coloured mules are everywhere this season. Think fun, eccentric and as bright as possible, and you can't go wrong.
These ASOS DESIGN Nyla heeled mules in lime, $56, are certainly statement shoes. With an open square toe, and flared block heel, they're a fun summer addition. By Far's Juju textured-leather mules, $251, are a gloss leather, with a square toe - and seriously fun.
Flatforms
Chunky slingbacks are the perfect antidote to floaty dresses - and they'll be on plenty of feet this spring and summer.
Windsor Smith's Tasty Black Leather Chunky Sandal, $83.96, have a leather upper, a slingback buckle fastening, a chunky patterned sole, and have a heel height of 5.6cm. From Dr Martens, these Vegan Blaire Sandals, $199, have an air-cushioned 6cm sole with the classic yellow stitching, and are super comfy.
Clogs
Think of them as wooden slides - clogs are comfy, cool and really versatile.
Funkis' 697 Stina Low Clogs, $169, have a tanned leather upper, a timber base with a moulded footbed. They have a fixed ankle strap, silver buckles and a 5cm heel. Shein's Pleather Studded Slip-On Clog Sandals, $26.95, have a low heel, a brown upper and a rubber outsole.
