We caught up with the former Home and Away actress and model Samara Weaving (niece of actor Hugo Weaving) to discuss Aussie fashion, beauty must-haves and Reese’s Pieces.

1. What’s it like being a Bonds girl?
Ha! It’s great, it’s great fun.

2. Favourite memory from working with Bonds?
I think today has been my favourite. Hanging out with the girls - Ruby Rose and Kelly Gale - and having lots of laughs. It’s been great fun.

3. Who are your favourite Australian designers?
Aje, Sass & Bide, Camilla, Steven Khalil and Bonds of course!

4. Must-have beauty products?
Olay moisturiser, Palmer’s Cocoa Butter and my perfume, Gucci Envy Me.

5. Tips for glowing skin?
Cocoa Butter, I use it all the time. Palmer’s is my favourite brand.

6. Travel beauty essentials?
A hydrating spray mist for the plane, and lavender oil, because you can sprinkle it on your chest or your pillow and it relaxes you before you go to sleep.

7. Where are your favourite places to eat and drink in Australia?
I love the sushi in Australia; it’s just the best. My friends have a cafe in Sydney called The House, which is so cool and friendly, they’ve got awesome food and the best coffee I’ve ever tasted.

8. Where in the world is your ultimate holiday destination?
London. I love it so much.

9. Hot tip on where to go/what to do in LA?
My friend's bar, Vaucluse Lounge, because it’s not too pretentious. There’s a great Japanese restaurant called Katana, and all the Mexican food here is great.

10. How do you like to stay fit?
I go for lots of runs, and I prefer to walk everywhere rather than driving, and hot yoga.

11. Guilty pleasures?
Peanut butter and Reese’s Pieces.

12. What has been your career highlight to date?
All of them, it’s been one big highlight so far, I’ve been so lucky.

13. Plans for the rest of 2015?
I couldn’t tell you, the thing about this job is it you never know where it’ll take you! I’ve just finished filming in Vancouver, and before that I was in Australia filming a small comedy series called Squirrel Boys with some friends of mine. And now I’m in LA just doing meetings and auditions.
