Sam, who now lives in the country with her husband, Richard Lavender, sent shockwaves through the industry when she quit her role on Sunrise last year.
Having since embraced the farm life in the Southern Highlands, Sam will feature as a special guest on Farmer Wants a Wife's 2022 season, alongside host Natalie Gruzlewski.
In a statement Channel Seven said Sam will “help the farmers and ladies on their road to finding real love”, where she will introduce each farmer to a new lady based on her own expertise and experience.
"I've always been a huge fan of the show and of country people, and I know first-hand that falling in love with a farmer is just about the most wonderful thing you can do," Sam said.
After she left her breakfast television role, it didn't take long for Sam to admit that she didn't think she was done with TV just yet but if she were to take up a new role on air, it wouldn't be at the same pace as Sunrise, as she doesn't think that way of life brought her 'much happiness'.
"I wasn’t happy at all with the level of attention that I got through that and so I reset it," she said.
Since her departure from the morning breakfast show, Samantha has been working on her podcast, Something To Talk About, for Stellar magazine.
