Sam's hilarious future prediction

It's been a challenging few weeks for Sam Frost, but the radio host hasn't lost her sense of humour despite the hardships.

Days after it was announced she was axed from her 2Day FM breakfast radio show and ending her 18-month relationship with Sasha Mielczarek, Sam took to Instagram to share an amusing future prediction for herself as she pretends to pucker up for a cute four-legged friend.

"Everyone act surprised in ten years time when they do one of those "Where are they now?" articles and I end up being a weirdo that marries their dog, living in a bunker with an aluminium foil hat paranoid the world is going to end," Sam captioned the photo of the dog sitting on her lap.

Sam's post comes after it was revealed she and Sasha scrapped plans to build a home together after they split.

According to the Sunday Telegraph, The Bachelorette stars had planned to set up home on a plot of land near Bowral but that's all been canned since the couple parted ways.

27-year-old Sam is said to have pulled the plug on the build after the demise of their 18-month romance, which they revealed had come to an end two weeks ago.

Last week it was announced the Rove and Sam show would be moved to a later time slot of 7pm-8pm on weekdays after a string of dismal rating results.

The pair announced the news from Rove and Sam's joint Instagram account: "Hey Sydney, it's been a real pleasure to do breakfast with you in the morning. We are excited to move from those very early starts and focus on evenings from 7pm > 8pm across the HIT NETWORK starting on Monday 30th January."

They continued: "Thank-you to everyone who got up with us in the morning – we’ve had a blast and we can’t wait to chat with you all again on the 30th of January from 7pm across the Hit Network. Rove and Sam and @2DayFM team."

Southern Cross Austereo announced the news on Friday in a statement which read: "SCA executives took some time off over the Summer and after review, decided that the best route forward for all was to move their show into another time slot."

Sasha has also broken his silence since parting ways with Sam, sharing a photo of himself on a boys day out at the pub.

"Have a go at the heads on these blokes, would deadset make an onion cry! Great night out with these guys last night especially the two waiters to the right who joined us after their shift," he captioned the photo adding the hashtags, "#wheredyougetthecanadiantuxedodenimdan #dontforgettodrinkresponsibly #twothefirsthourandeighteveryhourafterthat."
