Sam’s Club Has a New Tumbler That Is ‘Better Than Owala’ but Half the Price

It might be time to buy a new water bottle.

It feels like there's constantly a new trending reusable water bottle. First, it was S’well, followed by Hydro Flask, and then, of course, the viral Stanley tumbler.

I’ll be the first to admit that I love a new water bottle and I’ve given in to most of these trends. While this means I’m very hydrated, I have put myself on a water bottle-purchasing ban for several reasons.

For one, they are, after all, reusable, which means they are meant to last a long time–even after the trend fizzles out. Second, they are expensive, and I don’t need to spend more money packing my kitchen cabinet so it's one step closer to being unable to close.

But, I might have to make an exception for this new Sam’s Club find. It's a dupe of a trending water bottle for only half the price. If there is anything I love more than a viral water bottle, it's a dupe of a viral water bottle. Looks like I’m going to have to cave and break my own rule—but just this once.

Sam’s Club Has a Copycat of the Viral Owala Water Bottle

Sam’s Club shoppers recently spotted a new brand of tumblers in store and they look very familiar to the Owala FreeSip Water Bottle. The Owala has taken off in popularity recently and I can see why: It’s leakproof, colorful, and fun. (You can’t toss a Stanley in your bag and expect it not to spill.) Plus, it has a push-to-open top with a hidden straw.

Instead of running out to buy a new Owala bottle, it's worth checking out this half-price Sam’s Club dupe. While Owala sells its bottles for around $27, Sam’s Club sells two of its new Ello Tumblers for only $25.

The Ello Tumblers look very similar to the Owala and come in several color options, including yellow and pink, black and white, and blue and green. For half the price of an Owala, they not only look nearly identical but also have similar features. The Ello Tumblers are also leakproof, hold up to 32 ounces, and can keep drinks cold for up to 30 hours.

These dupes even have one of the Owala’s most popular features. They can be refilled without removing the lid. The Ello Tumblers have the same straw feature as an Owala and a “fill mode” that doesn't require you to screw the top on and off every time you refill it.

Shoppers have found that this dupe might even beat the original. On a post announcing the product find, one user commented that the water bottle might be even “better than an Owala!”

So, if you are like me and trying to scratch that new water bottle itch without breaking the bank, this half-price Owala dupe might be exactly what you need. Grab a pack to split with a friend (or keep them both to yourself). While my water bottle cabinet definitely can’t handle two new additions, a dupe this good might just be worth making room for.
