Nicole Kidman, 53, stuns in sheer beaded gown for SAG Awards

It was a case of no red carpet, no worries for Aussie icon Nicole Kidman, who staged an award ceremony-worthy photoshoot in her very own backyard for the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night (US time).

The 55-year-old was simply stunning in a sheer, beaded gown by Giorgio Armani while posing up a storm in the sunshine outside her lush LA home.

'Backyard photoshoot'

Nicole thrilled fans by uploading a selection of gorgeous snaps by photographer Zack Whitford to her Instagram account in the lead-up to the SAG awards which were held virtually due to the COVID pandemic.

"Backyard Photoshoot for the #SAGAwards tonight," the Moulin Rouge! star captioned the pics.

"Thank you to all of my fellow actors for this so appreciated acknowledgment, and thank you @GiorgioArmani for the dress. Love to you all! xx" she added.

Nicole's exquisite floor-length frock featured long sleeves and masses of pink, purple and blue beaded flowers that, coupled with the garden setting, was positively nymph-like.

The mum-of-four complimented her gown with sparkling Harry Winston diamonds and a whimsical fishtail braid.

While Nicole didn't win on the night — she was nominated for The Undoing but lost out to The Queen's Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy — she certainly cleaned up in the style stakes.

"So pretty," gushed fellow Aussie actor Naomi Watts in the comments.

Channel 10 entertainment editor Angela Bishop added, "Stunning!!!"

"You're a VISION Nicole!" wrote the official SAG awards account.
