After Rumors Of Public Kissing, There's New Reports On Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck's Divorce

If you think Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are on the road to marital reconciliation, it sounds like you might want to hold your horses — for now.

Quick recap (as if you need it): Last month, Ben and Jen filed for divorce after reuniting in 2021 and getting married the following year. As you probably know, this was their second go-round together after being in a relationship from 2002 to 2004.

Since then, we've received a few updates about what's going on — official and otherwise. J.Lo posted some commemorative thirst traps despite reports that she was feeling "some bitterness" about the split...

...And she was also recently spotted holding hands with Ben's BFF Matt Damon.

Fast-forward to this weekend, when reports emerged that Ben and Jen were seen "kissing" at a family brunch — leading many to speculate online that, despite the divorce reports, maybe there was hope for their love after all.

According to a new report from People, however, that doesn't exactly seem to be the case.

"They all came together for a fun lunch so the kids could hang out," a source told the publication about the public outing, adding that Jennifer is "trying to be friendly with Ben."

"They are still moving forward with the divorce though. They are working out financial details amicably."

"A divorce is never easy, but Jennifer doesn't want to be selfish about it," the source added. "The kids always got along and have fun together."

"It makes her happy seeing the kids happy together. Happy kids are her priority."
