Royals fear Sussexes will 'immediately leak' details of rift talks
Prince Charles and Prince William are reportedly fearful that private conversations they have with Prince Harry will be leaked, according to a royal expert.
Things between the royals have been tense ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave an explosive tell-all interview to Oprah, where they spoke about the reason for their exit from the family.
However, royals fans were hopeful that Prince Harry could mend some of the broken relationships he has with his family when he flew home for Prince Philip’s funeral last weekend.
It was reported that Prince Charles called a two-hour meeting with both of his sons together, as he was fearful words would get misconstrued if he met them on his own.
Now, a royal source has claimed the future king and Prince William are fearful that details of their conversations will end up in the public domain.
"One of Charles and Williams’ big fears is that whatever discussions they have with Harry are immediately leaked,” royal commentator Phil Dampier told The Sun.
“They will be worried that if they get into any great detail, the next thing they know it will be out in the public domain, which makes it extremely difficult to heal the wounds long-term."
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, the host’s best friend, Gayle King, revealed on US TV the next day that Prince Harry had been involved in ‘unproductive’ talks with his father and brother.

"Well, I did actually call them to see how they are feeling, it's true, Harry has talked to his brother and his father, too,” Gayle said live on air.
"The word I was given was, those conversations were not productive. But they are glad they at least started a conversation."
It’s also been revealed that Prince Harry met with the Queen before he left the country to return to Meghan Markle and Archie in the US.
“The love and respect he [Harry] has for his grandmother will always be unwavering,” a source told the publication.
“This trip was to honour the life of his grandfather and support his grandmother and relatives. It was very much a family-focused period of time.
“Saturday broke the ice for future conversations but outstanding issues have not been addressed at any great length. The family simply put their issues to one side to focus on what mattered.”
After the funeral service on Saturday, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry were spotted chatting as they made the journey by foot back to Windsor Castle.
