Royal staff compare Meghan and Harry to Monica and Chandler from 'Friends'

She’s been branded ‘Duchess difficult’ and ‘pushy princess’ in the past, but now Meghan Markle is being compared to bossy TV character Monica Geller, from Friends.

The 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex has come up against a torrent of criticism in the past few weeks, with insiders revealing staff are leaving Kensington Palace in their droves due to Meghan’s demanding behaviour.

And now, the Daily Mail claim staff at Buckingham Palace compare the former Suits actress to the famous character from Friends and even refer to Prince Harry as Chandler, the character who was married to Monica.

Monica is known for her OCD, competitive nature and her need to be in charge.

It comes just days after the Express claimed the Duchess of Sussex’ most trusted aides are calling out her behaviour, after she reportedly ordered St George’s chapel to be filled with air fresheners before her May wedding, due to its ‘musty odour’

They’ve apparently branded her ‘Duchess difficult’ due to the fact that she’s “ripped up the rule book” when it comes to traditions in the royal family.

This includes ‘bombarding’ aides with texts after her daily routine of waking up at 5am, according to the Mail on Sunday.

An alleged royal insider claimed she messages aides up to seven times a day with ideas about her role, and is so enthusiastic that she’s been organising a number of ‘undercover’ missions to meet members of the British public who are associated with ‘good causes’.

It’s even been reported that the ‘royal feud’ between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton all started because the Duchess of Cambridge didn’t like the way Meghan spoke to members of her staff in the lead up to her and Prince Harry’s May wedding.

“That’s unacceptable, they’re my staff and I speak to them,” mum-of-three Kate is supposed to have said, according to an insider who spoke to The Sun.

That same person also added: “It’s a tricky situation but it was a one-off and they [Kate and Meghan] are determined to maintain a positive relationship even though they are obviously very different in their approach”.

And yesterday, it was revealed that Meghan has banned Prince Harry from attending the annual Boxing Day shoot at Sandringham.

Meghan, who is an outspoken activist for animal welfare, reportedly asked Harry to ditch the traditional Christmas pheasant shoot, something he had been doing alongside his brother William for 20 years.

However a source has claimed his wife has had words to him about killing “defenceless animals”, The Sun reports.

And it couldn’t come at a worse time, with rumours of a rift between Harry and William continuing to swirl.

“In his mind, William sees this as another concerning example of his younger brother being pulled away from his family by his new wife,” a source told the Sunday Mirror.

“But now it looks like Harry’s shooting days are over.”

Now it seems William will go with Prince Charles and his son George.
