Nick Cannon and Griffin with Robert Pattinson's face on 'The Masked Singer'Rita Ora may not always get it right on The Masked Singer, but she definitely knows when a contestant is not a close friend of hers.
In an exclusive clip from this week's episode, below, the panelists take a stab at guessing the true celebrity identity behind the Griffin mask. When Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg pieces together a vampire bat clue that makes her think of Twilight and guesses The Batman star Robert Pattinson, Ora is quick to jump in.
"He's a very good friend of mine. He actually introduced me to my husband, [Taika Waititi]," she tells the other panelists of Pattinson. An incredulous Ken Jeong then asks her if Griffin introduced her to Waititi.

She goes along with it and jokes, "Griffin introduced me to my husband," before admitting that she really doesn't think the singer is him because, "Rob is really shy." Though she does admit "all the clues match, and you are the queen of clues [McCarthy-Wahlberg], so, who knows, right? Who knows."
So Griffin might not be Pattinson, but other guesses for the contestant so far this season include Freddie Prinze Jr., Matthew Lillard, and David Arquette.
In his first clue package in last week's episode, a Masked Singer sheriff’s badge, a "school’s out" bell, dirt falling on the ground, a VHS tape with a jack-o'-lantern on it, and a sword all appeared. He also teased that he was not prepared for major "fandom" after he "skyrocketed to overnight success" and he had no idea "that first hit would immortalize" him.
Griffin also seems to be someone who has recently gone through a massive life change. He said in the clue package: "The future I saw in the stars was all being rewritten. Now I know, man, this life is so precious, and I take every opportunity that comes my way."
