“RHONJ”: Chaos Erupts as Teresa's 'Hot Dog-Lipped Mouth' Is Put on Blast and Melissa Hurls 'White Trash' Insult
Jaws drop and plates shatter in the new preview of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' season 14, set to premiere May 5
The Real Housewives of New Jersey are bringing the drama for season 14!
On May 2, Bravo released a video for the cold open of the upcoming season, set to premiere Sunday, May 5 — and one thing that’s clear is that the ladies do not hold back.
As the clip begins, Dolores Catania is seen sitting alone at a long table at Rails Steakhouse as a restaurant staff member sweeps up a mess left on the floor. Foreboding music plays in the background.
“How did it ever come to this?” a producer asks off-camera.
“I don’t know,” Dolores, 53, somberly replies.

The scene then switches to the events that presumably took place right before the chaos that the steakhouse employee was left to deal with.
Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin are shown telling one another that they "ride or die" for each other, however, Jennifer, 47, says, “I don’t feel it.”
Another scene shows Jennifer discussing her friendship with Teresa's sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.
“How is Teresa handing you becoming friends with Melissa?” Jenn Fessler asks Jennifer.
Jennifer's response is nonverbal, but her body language says a lot as she looks off to the side and rolls her eyes.
As the clip continues, the women are seen talking passionately to each other about “support” and what “real friends” look like as the drama builds.
"They heard you saying one thing and then saw you doing a different thing," Melissa, 45, says, as Jennifer can be heard telling Friend Jackie Goldschneider, "You need the support of your friends right now."
"We'll show you what real friends are like," Teresa, 51, quips to the group.
As Danielle Cabral vows to Rachel Fuda that she would "stay ten feet away from anybody that would hurt you," Rachel insists, "That just changed everything for me."
Eventually, Dolores explodes and yells, "You f---ing lying c---!" In response, Margaret Josephs calmly declares, "That's enough."
With the camera back to Dolores at Rails Steakhouse, she summarizes the sit-down as “horrible.”
The scene cuts back to the explosive fight between the women as Rachel, 33, is shown going off on Teresa. “Keep my husband’s name out of your fat f---ing hot dog-lipped mouth!" she yells as jaws drop and plates shatter around her.
After a brief montage of security guards intervening, Melissa yells, “They learned from the best white trash!”
More insults are hurled — including people being called “unhinged,” “disgusting,” “stupid,” and a “sick animal” — before the preview of season 14 ends.
"You're a little f---ing snake," Margaret says as the clip cuts to black.
While fans will have to wait a few days to find out what the drama is all about, at least for now they know the taglines have been finalized — with many seemingly hinting at what’s to come.
“It's hard not to burn bridges when you’re on fire,” Melissa says in hers, as Teresa notes, "You can try to tear me down, but this ‘Tre’ just keeps on growing."
Dolores' refers to her neutral standing within the group: “I’m a girl from Patterson, playing Switzerland, dating an Irishman.”
Others reference friendships within their circle. “Friends are like handbags, the fake ones are all too easy to spot,” Jennifer says as Rachel adds, “If you don’t have my back, at least have a backbone.”
And Danielle and Rachel are all about keeping it real in theirs. "I’m bougie, unbothered and above your drama," Danielle says.
“While you’re taking cheap shots, I’m taking screenshots,” quips Margaret.
