'RHOBH' Star Kyle Richards Opens up About Questioning Her Sexuality
Kyle Richards is being more open than ever before. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG is busy promoting the upcoming season of the hit Bravo series, and in a new interview, she sheds light on her relationship with her evolving sexuality.
When speaking to Page Six, the reality star revealed that she was "terrified" to discuss her sexuality with her children. “It was the most difficult conversation I’ve ever had with my children, and I was terrified to have that conversation," she told the outlet. "I just wanted to be as honest as I possibly could."

Since Richards announced her split with her husband Mauricio Umansky, there has been a considerable amount of speculation surrounding her sexuality, specifically related to her close friendship with the country singer Morgan Wade. While Richards avoided talking the specifics of her relationship with Wade on the show last season, it seems she is ready to address more personal aspects of her sexuality now.
“There were stories out there about me and … this did make me wonder, you know, and question myself," she continued. “I really never thought like this before. This is not the way I was raised. That’s not the way my mind even operated."
“And all of a sudden I was thinking like that and I wanted to be as honest with them as possible because they are my best friends," she said regarding her discussion with daughters Farrah (36), Alexia (28), Sophia (24), and Portia (16).

"I like to lead by example and I thought, ‘You know, if this is what I’m going through and feeling, I want them to always feel comfortable enough to share with me the hardest conversations and know that they’ll be accepted no matter what,’” she added.
Kyle returns alongside Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, and Sutton Stracke for the upcoming season of RHOBH, which premieres Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
