Yahoo Lifestyle Reneé Rapp's ditched her extensions for a shaggy wolf haircut and Regina George could never
Keeping it fresh to death, one of 2023's biggest breakout stars Reneé Rapp just swapped her long blonde extensions out for a freshly trimmed shaggy wolf take on her natural mid-length tresses and it looks so... fresh. Ok, we'll stop saying fresh now.
Reneé attended the 35th Annual GLAAD Media Awards (recognising achievement and representation of LGBTQ communities and issues) with a look that's so far from Regina George.
Reneé's hair stylist Marisa Marino posted the just-snipped look to IG, crediting OGX for the products and captioning the post "Fresh ✂️ shag tonight for Renee x #GLAADawards" – we made no promises about quoting the word fresh.
The choppy retro look is made up of a head of piecey scattered layers and a stylish feather-light full-fringe and she looks so effing cool. Probably because she is.
It wasn't just her cut that had a revamp, colourist Cassondra Kaeding levelled up her platinum blond too, sharing arty polaroids of the look captioned "👱🏻♀️ @reneerapp x #GLAADawards Fresh cut ✂️ and colour."
And it was a great day to be looking her best, as Reneé won big at the awards, scooping the Outstanding Music Artist award, presented to her by Billie Joe Armstrong. *Hey Google, play Tummy Hurts*.
The chop said goodbye to inches of extensions, as we saw over Oscars weekend, so it's quite a drastic change, but we are so here for it.
And honestly, she looks unfairly good with both lengths, and our stanning is only growing.
