Reese Witherspoon In "American Psycho": Tell Us An Actor And A Film You Seriously Always Forget They Appeared In

On Wednesday, Variety reported that Austin Butler is set to star in a remake of author Bret Easton Ellis's novel, American Psycho. The film will be directed by Luca Guadagnino, who has had a significant year with his movies Challengers and Queer.

The first film adaption of the book came out in 2000 and was a major hit, starring Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman, a Wall Street finance bro with a penchant for working out, keeping a clean apartment...and killing people outside of business hours.

Any time American Psycho is mentioned, I am always shocked to remember that Reese Witherspoon co-starred in the film as Patrick's fiancé.

So, the news of Austin starring in a remake spurred the reminder of Reese's role in the original, which triggered a recollection of Austin's role in Once Upon a Time In... Hollywood during his pre-Elvis days.

In fact, Once Upon a Time In... Hollywood is filled with well-known actors so associated with other roles you just might have forgotten they were in the film altogether, such as Margaret Qualley and Lena Dunham.

And Sydney Sweeney too.

So I'm curious to hear from you: Who is an actor you always forget appears in a film you never think to associate them with? Maybe it's one of the examples I mentioned, or perhaps it's Jack Quaid in the Hunger Games franchise.

Or Mahershala Ali in parts 1 and 2 of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.

Or perhaps it's an entirely different example. Tell me in the comments below! The best comments may appear in an upcoming BuzzFeed post.
