Aussie actress Rebel Wilson has wowed fans with a dramatic transformation, and inspiring social media post as the new year rolls in.

The comedian took to Instagram to share her impressive new year’s resolution alongside some sporty snaps on the beach.

“Okay so for me 2020 is going to be called “The Year of Health”,” she captioned the snaps of her posing in activewear.

The actress is best known for her comedic chops and self-deprecating humour but took on a refreshingly earnest tone in the post promising herself a healthy start to the year.

“... trying to avoid the sugar and junk food which is going to be hard after the holidays I’ve just had but I’m going to do it! Who’s with me in making some positive changes this year?” she wrote.

Rebel shot to fame playing ‘Fat Amy’ in the Pitch Perfect franchise, and with the third and final instalment wrapped has debuted a slimmer figure and impressively active lifestyle.

Fans and friends have flooded the Aussie star’s comments with mountains of praise, and it has already chalked up half a million likes.

“Get it Jigs! You look amazing,” one friend wrote.

“You’re looking amazing!” an admiring fan commented.

“I’m so proud of you!! You look fantastic already with your weight loss,” another fan gushed.

With her transformation well and truly on its way, looks like 2020 is going to be a big year for the Aussie star.
