Rebel Wilson shows off toned abs in crop top

She’s lost nearly 20kg during her ‘Year of Health’ but Rebel Wilson has revealed even she has days where she’s just unmotivated.

Taking to her Instagram page, the 40-year-old Australian actress uploaded a video, showing her standing in a crop top with strobe lights added in the background.

The Pitch Perfect actress looks stunning in the black ensemble, which she matched with a neck scarf and a pair of noise cancelling headphones.

“Started off having a bad day but took myself on a giant walk, listening to some motivational podcasts & audiobooks (currently @antmiddleton The Fear Bubble) out in gorgeous nature...drank water...and you know what feel soooo much better now,” Rebel started.

“We all have tough days but take a beat, take a nap and then get back out there and continue to crush.”

Rebel has been keeping her fans updated on her incredible transformation over the past year, revealing last week that she was diagnosed with PCOS at a young age which caused her to ‘gain weight rapidly’.

She told E! now that she’s turned 40, she’s become more conscious of living a healthier lifestyle.

"I've been overweight for about 20 years. I started gaining weight when I was about 20. I had something called PCOS—polycystic ovarian syndrome—and I gained weight rapidly,” Rebel said.

“It's just a hormone imbalance and you gain a lot of weight usually and that's how it manifested in me. Sometimes, I feel sad, but then at the same time, I worked my body to my advantage. I like being all sizes. It's just now turning 40, I am more health conscious and thinking of starting a family."

Appearing on Drew Barrymore's talk show earlier in the week, Rebel said turning 40 inspired her to rethink her habits.

Speaking of her weight loss journey, Rebel said: "Drew, for the last few years I've been theming my years, so I had the Year Of Fun, last year I had the Year Of Love and this year I’m like, 'It’s going to be the Year Of Health,' because I turned 40 this year in March and I never really focused on my health which was probably obvious."

She shared how becoming famous internationally was so stressful and her health took a backseat.

"I was going all around the world, jet setting everywhere and eating a ton of sugar that was kind of my vice,” she said.

Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle, Rebel’s trainer, Jono Castano of Acero Training Series revealed the "most important" part of Rebel's weight loss journey.

"I'd say her consistency has been the most important thing, if you're consistent and you're getting amazing results then it's just going to continue to show, even if it's not just in your appearance, but it's also going to help in bringing out the best in you," he said.

"We sometimes forget about what fitness and results actually does, it's not just about losing weight, it gives you so much more confidence."
