Reality star Trevor Jones dies at 34 after 'sudden' medical event
Reality star Trevor Jones has 'unexpectedly' died at the age of 34 after suffering a 'sudden' medical event on October 9.
Jones, who was a contestant on Bravo's Millionaire Matchmaker in 2015, passed away after experiencing a 'Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome event,' according to his childhood friend and business partner, Travis Lubinsky.
"Trevor Jones left this world unexpectedly on October 9, 2021 from a sudden Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome event," Lubinsky tweeted five days after Jones' death.
"He lives on through his wife Cherrie, their 6-month-old beautiful baby Finley, his father Chris, and his sister Kaitlin," he added.
Jones wed Cherrie in April 2018, and the pair welcomed their baby daughter Finley in March 2021.
"I can't believe he's gone," Lubinsky wrote in a follow-up tweet.
According to the Mayo Clinic, Vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a rare and severe form of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome which affects the body's connective tissues such as skin, joints and blood vessel walls.

"Vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome can weaken your heart's largest artery (aorta), as well as the arteries to other regions of your body. A rupture of any of these larger blood vessels can be fatal. The vascular type can also weaken the walls of the uterus or large intestines — which also may rupture."
Millionaire Matchmaker host Patti Stanger paid tribute to Jones in a statement to E! News:
"We are deeply saddened by this news. Trevor was one of the nicest daters on the show.
"It's hard to remember every single dater from the show but I definitely remember him. He was lovely, handsome, and will be missed."
Jones and Lubinsky also appeared on the investment reality show The Profit, where they represented their brand, Flex Watches.
After his passing, Lubinsky set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for Jones' widow and daughter. At the time of publishing, the page had raised USD$114,000, more than double the $50k goal.
Cherrie later shared a video thanking donors for their generosity during this 'difficult time'.
"Thank you so much for all the love and support you have shared during this difficult time. Trevor would have loved seeing this beautiful movement take place on his family’s behalf.
"He can rest easy knowing that his girls are taken care of thanks to all of you. Finley and I are so grateful and love you all so much."
