Of all the film festivals out there, there's something about Cannes that sees stars throw caution to the wind when it comes to red carpet dressing.
At this year's awards, British reality star turned actor Kimberley Garner walked the fine line between risqué and X-rated in a lilac and white gown.
The 30-year-old, who appeared on UK hit Made In Chelsea in 2012, sported the eye-catching two-tone frock by La Métamorphose to a screening of the film, France, on Thursday.
The upper part of the dress was an off-the-shoulder design featuring a plunging neckline that dipped down almost to Kimberley's navel.
But it was the floor-length skirt with double thigh-high splits that almost got the Brit swimwear designer into trouble while ascending the event's iconic red-carpeted stairs.
While posing for the cameras, Kimberley — who made her film debut in indie thriller Sweetheart — paused to adjust the floaty folds of fabric and in doing so, flashed a fair amount of skin.
The wardrobe malfunction didn't appear to bother the star, who later shared news articles documenting the head-turning moment on her Instagram Stories.
Kimberley wasn't the only one to push the style boundaries at Cannes.
Model Bella Hadid had jaws dropping in a black, open-fronted gown that left her entire chest exposed — save for a strategically placed gold necklace. And Poppy Delevingne put her knickers on display in a sheer frock studded with crystals.
Below, we've compiled a few of the most striking fashion looks from the festival so far.
