Simone Biles continues to make history as the most decorated gymnast at the 2024 Paris Olympics, winning three (!!!) gold medals at this year’s games alone. Of course, her sweet and supportive family made their way to the city of lights to cheer her on. Her parents and hubby Jonathan Owens sat in the stands as they used binoculars to see her routine and took notes. The Chicago Bears training camp kicked off on July 20, but Jonathan went from Chicago to Paris on July 29 and 30 after receiving permission to support Simone. The dedication is real, okay?
On August 4, the NFL player revealed he was “back at it” at training camp as he posted a pic with fans on Instagram. “Something about a man in uniform 😍,” Simone wrote, referencing his Chicago Bears jersey.
Before heading back to Chitown, Jonathan witnessed Simone win gold in the team final along with her teammates Jade Carey, Suni Lee, and Jordan Chiles. He was also in the stands when Simone won the all-around individual final and the vault final, and congratulated her with a sweet post on his Instagram grid. “Witnessing history every time you step on the mat 😍🔥 Congrats baby on becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history!!!!
