The real reason why this mum dates strangers for cash

A single mum has earned $18,000 by dating strangers, in a bid to give her 10-year-old daughter, Ariana, a better life.

Serial dater, Kelly Popilek, has attended countless dates with men from the website WhatsYourPrice, who pay for her company at the dinner table.

The 37-year-old. from California in the US, wants to make it clear that just because she dates for cash, it doesn’t mean she’s a ‘gold digger.’

“I use the money from the dates to pay for bills, clothes, food, school supplies and everyday things for my daughter,” Kelly, who runs a real estate business, said.

“I’ve earnt around $18,000 from dating the men I’ve met online as it has led to business partnerships too.

“It has given me and Ariana a great lifestyle and I would recommend it to anyone.”

Kelly has gone on every type of date, from a formal dinner date to a karaoke bar, and charges no lower than $180 for her time.

Kelly dates strangers at least once a week but claims she is picky with her dates.

“I always ensure we meet in a public bar or restaurant and will tell my friends where I am at all times,” Kelly said.

Kelly is adamant she wants to continue dating strangers because she feels it has made her a better mum.

“I’m able to afford things now that I won’t have been able to,” she said.

“Ariana now has all the school supplies and clothes she needs and it’s all because I’m able to date strangers for extra cash.”
