Yahoo Lifestyle ‘Reacher’ Actor Alan Ritchson's Wife Sends Bold Message to His On-Screen Love Interest
Just because Sonya Cassidy is romantically involved with her Reacher co-star Alan Ritchson onscreen doesn't mean Ritchson's real-life wife bears her any ill will.
Cat Ritchson took to Instagram this week to share a photo of herself with her husband, sons, and Sonya, taking the opportunity to praise the actress in her caption.
"I’d like to shine the spotlight on and show my gratitude for the work ethic of Sonya Cassidy @ms_filmmaker," Cat wrote.
"This woman is an ACTRESS," she continued. "I find myself in awe of what she was able to put up on screen as Duffy. My role during these long shoots is one of a wife and mother at home while the cast shoots long, grueling hours; and the elephant in the room is that there are love scenes that need to be shot (spoiler alert for this past week’s episode 🤣 ) Truth is, those can feel vulnerable for all parties involved - the actors and the spouses at home."

"Sonya is a dream come true for any actor’s spouse," Cat added. "She comes prepared (which means faster shooting days) and she has distinct professional boundaries. Let me tell you something: that work ethic, those boundaries - it all synergizes into her outta this world performance."
