Rami Malek's Mom 'Steals the Show' on 'Good Morning America'
Rami Malek clearly gets his charm from his mama.
The Oscar-winning actor brought along his mother, Nelly Malek, for a recent appearance on Good Morning America, where the proud mom actually ended up stealing the show.
In a clip from the Thursday, April 3 episode of the ABC morning show, host Michael Strahan could be seen introducing Rami's mom as she stood off to the side of the set after flying from Los Angeles to be at the GMA studio in New York City with her son.
"I would not be here without this woman, truly" the actor, 43, gushed about his mom, adding, "I am blessed."
He went on to say that his mother "worked tirelessly" to put him through school, and used "every red cent she made to get me an education so that I can be sitting here with you and sharing this movie with everyone."
Rami, who is currently promoting his new film, The Amateur, added that he "couldn't be more proud" of his mom, as he thanked her by shouting out to her, "Thank you, lady!"
Strahan told Nelly, "Now we see you're so beautiful," which explains why her son is so great. "We see it all," the GMA host added.
"That's very nice of you," Nelly sweetly replied.
In another clip, Rami's mom could be seen having a wholesome moment with host Robin Roberts, while the pair embraced for a hug and even took a photo together.
"Rami Malek's mom stole the show this morning on GMA!" the text on the GMA Instagram post read, along with the caption, "This is now an official fan account for Rami Malek's mom 🥰."
