Rachel Bilson reveals she was fired from job over X-rated confession

The OC's Rachel Bilson has revealed she was fired from a job after she confessed she wants to be "f***ing manhandled" during sex while on a podcast recently.

"A job got taken away from me because I was speaking candidly and openly about sex in a humorous way on our friend’s podcast," she revealed on her Broad Ideas podcast this week.

"I basically got a job, that I already had, pulled from me because I was speaking openly about sex," Rachel shared, saying it was "the first time" she was taken off a project "because of things that were said".

The Hart of Dixie star appeared on Tammin Sursok and Roxy Manning's Women on Top podcast where she spoke of her favourite sex positions.

"I like missionary," she said, before adding, "I’ve learned that if you want to have an orgasm during sex, you have to be on top. But missionary is my favourite. I want to be f**king manhandled."

On her podcast, Rachel clarified, saying the comments were said "in a joking manner".

"Like, ‘Yeah, I wanna get f**king manhandled!’ Basically, it’s like, OK give control or take control in the bedroom, whatever," she said.

The star added that she is "floored" the confession meant she lost a job.

"Everything was set in motion and I lost the job. It sucks," she said. "I haven’t said anything inappropriate. … If I could go back, now knowing I lost a job, maybe I would say it differently — but I still wouldn’t not say it."

Rachel added, "A single mum, a woman, lost a job because they were being candid and honest and the subject was sex."

It's not the first time the actress was open about her sex life, after previously admitting she hadn't orgasmed during sex until the age of 38.

Rachel later clarified her comment, saying she blamed herself, not her previous partners.

While the star hinted at being in a relationship last year, her most recent famous ex was Bill Hader, who she split with in 2020.

Speaking of her split with Bill, Rachel said it "hurt like a motherf***er" and was the "hardest thing" she's ever done, even more so than childbirth.
