"Thank you guys, I lost both my earrings," the Abbott Elementary creator and star said on Saturday, March 16, while accepting her award for outstanding actor in a comedy series onstage at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
She went on ask the star-studded crowd for help. "If anybody sees my earrings," she said, describing the jewelry. "Just little dangly things, cost a lot — so if anybody sees them..."

Among the crowd were famous faces such as Idris Elba, Usher, Keke Palmer, Kerry Washington, Sterling K. Brown, Leslie Jones, Octavia Spencer, Jeffrey Wright, Halle Bailey, Misty Copeland, and Vivica A. Fox, as well as Color Purple star Danielle Brooks, Taraji P. Brunson's earrings may have gone missing before she ever hit the red carpet, though.
The Philadelphia native wasn't wearing them when she posed for photographers in a architectural white Naeem Khan gown with a deep-V neckline, fitted bodice and long train.
She was, however, wearing jewelry in the form of a series of diamond and silver rings on her fingers. Her makeup moment was a standout too, with a high-gloss lips and shimmery shadow. As for her hair, she wore it in a gorgeous, swept-back style.
