Q&A: Georgini

Georgini is now stocked in over 300 stores across the Pacific region, including the new Westfield Sydney City precinct – what's the secret behind the brand's ongoing growth?

Georgini offers a "luxury" product at an affordable price which is what women want. I believe Georgini's success is also a result of hard work, innovative design, quality, presentation, price point and marketing. My mother and I eat, breathe and sleep all that is Georgini.

What are the key pieces of the new season?
We are all very excited about the GEORGINI COURTURE range, which will be launched in September. Add a touch of colour to that little black dress or a statement piece to jeans and a singlet. Bright colours and bold statement pieces are a must-have for spring/summer.

Which piece of jewellery from the current Georgini range would suit everyone?
I personally love the double circle pendant with cubic zirconias. Circles are always big sellers, and this is a pendant you could dress up or down.

What should you consider when buying jewellery for someone else?
I worked in the Georgini store prior to Christmas –I would always say to customers buying gifts, unless you know exactly what they want stick to timeless, classical pieces that will never date – you honestly can't go wrong.

Georgini launched a bridal range last year – what made the brand decide to target this market, and what's the must-have jewellery piece for the discerning bride?
There was a gap in the market for bridal jewellery. I remember talking with so many brides who would all say the same thing – most bridal jewellery is expensive costume jewellery that eventually tarnishes. Women want value for their money- a quality product that they can wear time and time again not just for their wedding day. The Georgini range has something for the bride, bridesmaids and mothers of the bride. It really is a one-stop jewellery shop. A classical tennis bracelet is a must for every bride. Georgini carries over 10 different styles that are all top sellers.
