Project host Lisa Wilkinson's throwback pic stuns fans

Lisa Wilkinson has taken us all on a delightful trip down memory lane by sharing a fan-made photo collage depicting her journey from fresh-faced teen to successful journalist and TV personality.

In each of the nine photos, the Project host is seen sporting a variety of trendy hairstyles and makeup looks, including Farrah Fawcett-inspired waves in the ‘70s and a bold lip and arched brow in the late 1990s.

“Thanks so much to whoever did this... (I think.)” she captioned the pic on Instagram on Thursday.

A Beauty moment

The 60-year-old went on to joke about one pic in particular, a shot of her 1997 appearance on the now-defunct panel show, Beauty and the Beast.

“Lordy, what WAS I thinking with that Beauty & The Beast [sic] ‘look’ middle row far left???” she laughed.

Lisa then handed over to her 330k followers for advice on which iteration she should recreate for that evening’s Project show.

“Now, which style for the @theprojecttv tonight? All suggestions welcome. And be nice!! #hairhistory #hairstyles #myhairhistory,” she wrote.

Her fans were happy to oblige, sharing their favourite ‘Lisa look’ in the comments.

“Headband fo sure,” wrote one, while former WAG Bec Judd advised, “Top left brows”.

“Hi Lisa, bottom right, your current style is by far the best,” said another.

Others couldn’t choose, claiming that the ex-Today star looked “Stunning from the first to the last picture”.

“You just keep getting better with age,” remarked one.

Lisa’s memory lane

Lisa is no stranger to sharing happy snaps from her past, and posted a black and white photo of herself as a youngster on her family’s ‘first summer holiday’ in December last year.

Along with wedding anniversary pics - she has been married to Peter FitzSimons since 1992 - Lisa has also recently shared a portrait of her beloved father, Raymond Wilkinson, who passed away 30 years ago.
