Priscilla Presley remembers daughter Lisa Marie on anniversary of her death: 'I miss you more than words can say'
Riley Keough also paid tribute to her late mother, who died two years ago.
Priscilla Presley is paying tribute to her late daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, two years after her unexpected death.
In a heartfelt Instagram post Sunday, Priscilla, 79, marked the second anniversary of Lisa Marie's death by sharing a photo of her and writing, "I miss you more than words can say. I wish I could hold you, talk to you, see your smile just one more time. I wish you could see how much you are still loved, how deeply you are missed by all of us who carry you in our hearts."
Lisa Marie, the only daughter of Priscilla and Elvis Presley and a musician in her own right, died Jan. 12, 2023, from complications related to bariatric surgery. She was 54.

Lisa Marie's daughter, the actress Riley Keough, also paid homage in an Instagram Story post. "I can't believe it's been 2 years," wrote Keough, 35. "I miss you and love you so much mama."
Lisa Marie was hospitalized two years ago after being found unresponsive at her home in Calabasas, Calif. An autopsy report concluded that the singer-songwriter had long-term complications from when she underwent bariatric surgery several prior. Her death was caused by a bowel obstruction, and she reportedly suffered from abdominal pain and nausea for months leading up to her death.
Her death came just days after she attended the 80th Golden Globes, where Baz Luhrmann's biopic Elvis had been nominated for three awards, including Best Motion Picture — Drama. Austin Butler, who portrayed the late King of Rock and Roll, won Best Actor in a Drama, beating out the likes of Brendan Fraser (The Whale) and Bill Nighy (Living).

In his acceptance speech, Butler shouted out the Presley family. "Thank you for opening your hearts, your memories, your home to me," he said. "Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever."
At a Golden Globes pre-party, Lisa Marie said she was proud of the film. "I'm so overwhelmed by this film and the effect that it's had and what Baz has done, what Austin has done," she said. "I'm so proud. And I know that my father would also be very proud."
