Princess Charlene of Monaco Means Business in Wool Ralph Lauren Suit for France Trip With Her Twins Gabriella and Jacques
Princess Charlene of Monaco joined members of her family for a royal visit to Brittany in France on Wednesday. The Monaco royals attended the unveiling of a commemorative plaque marking their visit to the town of Matignon, during the visit of les Côtes-d’Armor.
For the special daytime occasion, Princess Charlene suited up in a look courtesy of Ralph Lauren Collection. The royal styled the “Lily” glen plaid wool jacket with the coordinated “Stamford” glen plaid wool trousers.

The royal followed a monochrome, deep brown color palette, adding a turtleneck beneath her jacket. Princess Charlene completed the look with a pair of pumps in dark brown suede courtesy of Manolo Blahnik.
Princess Charlene’s attire perfectly complemented the attire of her daughter Princess Gabriella. The 10-year-old wore a similarly styled wool coat with angular lapels and a soft collar. She, too, wore a darker brown garment beneath her coat, taking a sartorial cue from her mother’s wardrobe choice.
As for Charlene’s husband, Prince Albert II, and their son, Prince Jacques, blue suits were the order of the day. Prince Albert opted for a lighter shade of blue, while 10-year-old Prince Jacques wore a darker navy tone. Both wore black patent leather loafers to complete their attire.
Princess Charlene styled Ralph Lauren for a previous occasion in April 2024. While attending the Sainte Devote Rugby Tournament at Stade Louis II in Monaco, the royal opted for a cream pin-striped blazer featuring silver buttons courtesy of the American designer.
Princess Charlene of Monaco’s latest engagement follows suit with a popular trend among royal women. Following Princess Diana’s Catherine Walker suited moment in the 1980s, powering suiting became a mainstay among royal women from Princess Charlene to Kate Middleton, Queen Letizia and more.
