Prince William Won the Most Controversial Sexiest Man Title
It marks his second year in a row of winning the esteemed honor.
Prince William may be the future king of England, but that's not the only set of titles that he has to his name. In addition to being the Prince of Wales and Kate Middleton's husband, it was revealed that William made the cut for a sexiest man list—just not in the way you would think.
Digital PR agency Reboot Online shared its annual list for the sexiest bald man, and William topped the list at number one. The Prince of Wales managed a near perfect score—a 9.86 out of 10 possible points—and beat out the likes of bald-headed icons like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Vin Diesel for the all around title. The competition wasn't even close, either—Johnson landed at number two on the list with 8.88 out of 10, and Shaquille O'Neal placed third with 8.84 out of 10.
The ranking has a system in place to make its judgements—the agency analyzed "cranial shine factor" (AKA how shiny the contestant's head is), "voice attractiveness" (tone of speaking), and the more well known "golden ratio facial proximity," which is a series of scientific measurements that determines just how symmetrical a person's face is. Media perception, height, and "sexy searches" (yes, really) were also determining factors to compute the final score; William scored the highest in the vocal category.
The 2024 Sexiest Bald Man title marks the third time that William has managed to top the list—he placed at number one in 2023 and in the inaugural list in 2021, but dropped down to fifth place in 2022. Recent additions to William's looks, like his viral beard that he has kept since August, likely has contributed to his ability to maintain the top spot in 2024.
William, however, isn't the only royal who has managed to make a sexy man list this year. His brother, Prince Harry, ranked at number 25 on Harper's Bazaar's "50 Hottest Men of All Time" list, beating out Drake, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, John Legend, Ryan Gosling and more stars for his spot.
