Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark Team Up with Prince Harry at Invictus Games
The royal couple are supporting Danish service personnel and veterans competing in the Invictus Games

Prince Joachim, 55, and Princess Marie, 49, stepped out on Feb. 14 and Feb. 15 for the event, which Harry founded in 2014 to support service personnel and veterans through sport. The couple caught up with Prince Harry, 40, at a sitting volleyball game on Saturday.

Prince Harry, Princess Marie and Prince Joachim at the Invictus Games on Feb. 15, 2025Prince Joachim is the younger brother of King Frederik of Denmark, and the couple visited Danish athletes during their visit to Canada.
"The presence during the Invictus Games is part of the Prince and Princess' continued commitment to veterans, and their Royal Highnesses' wish to emphasize the importance of support and community for those who have served their country," according to the Danish royal family's Instagram page.
Prince Joachim's trip to Canada is a reunion for him and Prince Harry. The pair previously met in Copenhagen in October 2017 alongside Danish Invictus Games participants during Harry's visit to Denmark.

Prince Joachim and Princess Marie aren't the first royals outside the U.K. to support Prince Harry's Invictus Games.
Joachim's brother attended the Invictus Games in 2014 and 2018 — when they took place in London and Sydney, respectively — before acceding the throne.
King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands was on hand when the Invictus Games were held in The Hague in 2022, watching the wheelchair basketball final with the Duke of Sussex.
