Prince Harry 'regretful and embarrassed' over Oprah interview
Prince Harry was "hurt and angry" over the way the royal family treated his wife Meghan Markle and used his interview with Oprah Winfrey to "get it out", but is now "regretful and embarrassed" a royal expert has claimed.
Duncan Larcombe, author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story, was able to get to know the Duke of Sussex while working as a royal editor for ten years and described Harry as "hot-headed".
Duncan said he believed Harry has a tendency to act on impulse, recalling an alleged incident with the duke at Peter Phillips' bucks party in 2008.
The author had been invited to one of the events by Prince William and Harry thought he'd snuck in and was "livid", he told Closer magazine.

However, after William explained Duncan was invited, Harry apologised and they enjoyed a drink together.
Duncan says he believes a "similar thing happened" with the Oprah interview last month, where Harry said his father Prince Charles and Prince William are "trapped" and don't realise it.
The couple also claimed one senior member of the royal family had concerns over the colour of their son's skin.
"Harry was clearly hurt and angry about Meghan's experience with the royals - and used the interview to get it out," Duncan claims. "But after returning home, I've no doubt he's been feeling embarrassed, regretful and awkward. He's now facing the consequences. I believe he'll regret that interview - and maybe his decision to leave the royal family."
Harry flew to the UK for Prince Philip's funeral earlier this month and reportedly received a "frosty reception" from his family.
Talks between Charles, William and Harry were believed to have been "unproductive".
Duncan also claimed he heard Harry felt "numb" when he returned to LA after the funeral, even feeling "nostalgic" for his old life.
The author also believed Harry may struggle in LA, whereas Meghan is totally "in her element".
"He's in for a very difficult ride. There could be tough times ahead," Duncan said.
