Prince Harry snubs Prince William and Kate Middleton's glitzy palace event

Prince Harry gave an impassioned speech yesterday, where he revealed that he had no desire to leave the royal family but has accepted that’s how it has to be.

However, despite still being a working member of The Firm until spring 2020, the Duke of Sussex was nowhere to be seen at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s reception to mark the UK-Africa Investment Summit last night.

In a move that may be seen as a snub, Prince Harry flew out to Canada instead of attending his brother’s first-ever solo event at Buckingham Palace.

It’s believed Prince Harry is currently on-route to Vancouver to be reunited with his wife, Meghan Markle and their son, Archie.

Earlier in the day, Prince Harry was pictured meeting British Prime Minister Boris Johnson during he UK-Africa Investment Summit in London, however he didn’t stick around for the evening festivities.

Meanwhile, on Monday night Prince William and Kate Middleton carried on representing the Queen as senior members of the royal family.

Alongside Prince Edward, Sophie Wessex and Princess Anne, the royals welcomed 21 African delegates to the palace.

Kate Middleton stunned in a glittering, red, Needle and Thread gown, which retails for $870.

She paired her ensemble with a pair of red heels and a matching red clutch bag.

According to Town and Country, the whole topic of ‘Megxit’ was surprisingly ignore, with royal reporter Emily Andrewa saying that if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were brought up, it was ‘politely ignored’.

It comes after reports claimed Prince William feels “betrayed” by his younger brother.

“It’s absolutely heartbreaking to see just how damaged William and Harry’s relationship has become,” a senior royal source told The Sun.

“They’ll always love each other as brothers, but right now things have never been so bad. William feels betrayed and let down by Harry.

“Harry feels like William and Kate never gave Meghan a chance. And now they’re leaving the country in this state.”
