Sussexes move belongings from Frogmore 'in the dead of night'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly moved all their possessions out of Frogmore Cottage in the dead of night.

According to The Sun, the Sussexes are making way for Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, who are set to make the Windsor abode their new home.

“Removal vans pitched up in the dead of the night and cleared out the cottage. They definitely did not want to be seen,” a source told The Sun.

“Emptying their home and handing over the keys is a pretty strong sign Harry and Meghan have no plans to return.

“It appears they are tying up loose ends as they plan to extend their stay in the US perhaps permanently.”

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are expecting their first child together next year and are said to be delighted with the move.

It’s believed Harry, Meghan and Archie will still stay at Frogmore Cottage whenever they visit the UK.

It’s the biggest sign yet that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have no plans to return to their roles as senior royal within the royal family announcing they were quitting at the beginning of this year.

The couple packed up and headed stateside, buying a house in Santa Barbara right next to Hollywood.

It comes just days after a royal expert claimed the gap between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family is dividing.

“It highlights the great divide between Harry and the royal family,” Royal author Katie Nicholl told OK! Magazine.

“There is such a gaping cavern now and exercises like this only serve to widen that gap rather than heal the rift.”

'Harry and Meghan do things very differently to the royal family and to me it shows how determined they are to do things their own way whatever the cost.'

She went on to say she believes the gap between the Sussexes and the royals is ‘widening’ as the monarchy ‘refuses to bend rules’.
