Prince George celebrated his seventh birthday on 22 July, and to mark the milestone the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a string of portraits of him.

In one of the photos, which were taken by George’s mum Kate, he can be seen wearing a khaki green polo shirt, as he smiles at the camera.

The post has attracted a lot of attention, and racked up more than one million likes on Instagram, as well as more than 55,000 likes on Twitter.

A separate photo of George wearing a camouflage printed T-shirt, has also been released.

Although it is yet known where George’s patterned top is from, his smart polo is a high street bargain.

The cotton polo shirt, which boasts button front fastening, and a compass emblem on the chest is from Mango.

The stylish garment costs just £7.99 and also comes in four other colourways, including pink, navy, sky blue and white.

The top is available to fit children aged five to 12 years old, although it is selling out quickly.

This is not the first time George has been seen in this top.

Cast your mind back to June, when the Cambridges released a string of images of their three children playing with Prince William, to mark the 38-year-old royal’s birthday and Father’s Day.

In those family portraits George can be seen wearing the exact same polo.
