Pregnant Meghan Markle wears a bargain $85 dress

She has known for her love of designer brands but Meghan Markle chose to wear a very affordable gown at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance.

The Duchess of Sussex joined her husband Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family at the annual event and she certainly made an impression with her elegant off-shoulder LBD.

Meghan, who is expecting her first child in Spring 2019, looked stunning in the $85 bodycon dress available from British retailer Marks & Spencer.

According to the store, the dress has been “carefully crafter to flatter and stun.” It is also available in a festive red shade though sizes are selling out fast.

The 37-year-old teamed the sleek dress with a black Stella McCartney coat, nude tights and Manolo Blahnik heels.

Royal protocol

Meanwhile eagle-eyed fans noticed the former Suits star was sure to conform to Royal protocol at the festival of remembrance thanks to her choice of tights.

Meghan followed tradition and wore a pair of flesh coloured stockings which some fans believed were rather “shiny”.

While some declared her choice to follow protocol ‘wild’ — particularly given the colour of the stockings don’t match her own natural skin tone.

Either way, she looked classy as ever for the high-profile event.
