Pregnant Meghan Markle wears $1,800 Australian designer dress

Meghan Markle kicked off her and Prince Harry’s 16-day tour of Australia, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji in spectacular style on Tuesday.

They started in Sydney with a jam-packed day involving a welcome at Admiralty House, a visit to Taronga Zoo, and a walkabout at Sydney Opera House, with the Duchess of Sussex choosing to wear a $1,800 ivory dress by Australian designer Karen Gee.

Interestingly, the frock is called the “Blessed Dress”, which is a feeling that surely rings true for the excited parents-to-be who only announced they were expecting the day before.

Later in the afternoon, pregnant Meghan changed into a pleated, khaki frock by American designer Brandon Maxwell that retails for $2,555.
