Pregnant Lea Michele Says Son Ever Is ‘Very Excited’ to Be a Big Brother: 'Can't Wait for Them to Meet'

The singer and actress is set to welcome a baby daughter with husband Zandy Reich this year

Lea Michele’s son Ever Leo is ready to be a big brother!

The Funny Girl alum, 37, took part in a Q&A on her Instagram Stories this weekend, when she shared updates on her second pregnancy.

Responding to a question about whether her 3-year-old son, whom she shares with husband Zandy Reich, was “excited” to have a younger sibling, Michele wrote, “He is very excited!"

“It’s so sweet to talk to him about it. I can’t wait for them to meet!” she continued.

Michele also shared that she is currently “feeling good” as she nears closer to her due date, and also highlighted that she has been able to keep up with her toddler despite dealing with pregnancy symptoms.

“Every pregnancy comes with its own unique ups and downs and we manage them as best we can,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself in a striped bikini holding her baby bump. “But I’m grateful for the energy that I have while also taking care of a toddler at the same time and just feeling so grateful.”

One thing that Michele noted has been helping her get through the day is a tip from friend Ashley Tisdale, who told her that she should “get up a few moments before everyone in the morning” to have some time for herself.

“... It’s been so helpful,” Michele shared. “I make my matcha (one up a day) and sit by myself for even just a few moments. It helps me so much to just feel centered and also allows me to be super present once Ever is awake.”

During Mother’s Day last month, the Glee alum revealed that she and Reich are expecting a baby girl. Michele shared the news alongside a snap of herself cradling her baby bump on Instagram.

"The most beautiful Mother’s Day today, holding my son who made me a mama…and carrying my daughter. 💕💐," she wrote.

Michele initially revealed that she was expecting her second child in an Instagram post on March 27. At the time, she shared a series of photos of herself wearing a long, white cardigan that fell open to reveal her bare bump and matching white underwear.

In one picture, she smiled in the photo as she looked down at her belly, while in another, she faced toward the camera.

"Mommy, Daddy and Ever are overjoyed. 💛," she wrote in a caption alongside a carousel of images showing her with a small baby bump.
