“Power Rangers” actor Hector David Rivera is wanted by police, accused of shoving an elderly man to the ground

Authorities have issued a warrant for Rivera, who is being charged with misdemeanor battery.

Power Rangers actor Hector David Jr. is being sought by Idaho police and accused of shoving an elderly man in a Friday battery incident, Entertainment Weekly can confirm.

On July 26, Nampa’s Crime Stoppers shared footage of an altercation between a then-unidentified suspect and a man in his 60s. The video sees the individual approach and push the senior, sending both the man and his walker to the ground.

The suspect then spends a few seconds speaking to the man on the ground before fleeing the scene in a truck with a Texas license plate.

After asking the community for help identifying the suspect, a public information officer for the Nampa Police Department confirmed to EW that the man is believed to be actor Hector David Rivera, 35, who goes by the stage name Hector David Jr. Police have issued a warrant for his arrest for misdemeanor battery.

The investigation is ongoing. Thus far, authorities have not been able to locate Rivera, who was originally slated to appear at this weekend’s Magic Valley Comic-Con, but has since been removed from the website.

The event’s marketing director, Larissa Long, told KTVB, “We are just finding out about this ourselves. We are looking into it and will take appropriate action.”

Representatives for Rivera and Magic Valley Comic-Con did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
