'Power Rangers' Actor Dead at 76
Dave Mallow, a voice actor best known as the henchman Baboo on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, has died. He was 76.
A source told TMZ that Mallow died on Tuesday, March 11, after being in hospice care. He was staying at the MonteCedro Senior Living Community in Altadena, California at the time of his death.
In addition to Baboo, Mallow played a variety of other characters on Power Rangers, including Pudgy Pig and Terror Blossom. Among his many other credits include multiple characters in the English dub of Digimon and a number of video games such as World of Warcraft: Legion, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, and Diablo III.
According to IMDB, Mallow began his career with a 12-year run as a radio personality in the Midwest and New York City, later moving to Los Angeles in 1984 to pursue a career in voice acting.
The Morphin' Legacy Instagram page announced Mallow's death with a post on Wednesday, March 12, sharing a collage of photos of his numerous characters.
"It is with a heavy heart that we report; Iconic #PowerRangers Voice Actor, Dave Mallow, has passed away. 😢" the caption read.

Fans mourned Mallow's loss in the comments.
"He was great voicing monsters throughout 1st Saban era. RIP Mr Mallow," one person wrote.
"For whatever reason, I always loved PudgyPig 🥺 ... Rest in Peace, Baboo 🥺," added a second person.
"Pudgy Pig was always a favorite villain of mine. RIP and thank you for the memories," someone else chimed in, with another fan writing, "What?! 💔 Not our beloved Baboo. 😢"
