Pippa Middleton 'thrilled' to be pregnant with second child
Pippa Middleton is pregnant with her second child.
The 37-year-old younger sister of Kate Middleton is already mum to two-year-old son, Arthur, whom she had with her husband James Matthews.
“Pippa and James are thrilled, it’s fantastic news amid a difficult year. The entire family is delighted,” a family friend told Page Six.
The newest addition is sure to come as a joyous surprise for the Cambridges to round off what’s been a tough year for the family, after Prince William was struck down with COVID-19 in April.
Pippa gave birth to her first child, Arthur, back in 2018, following in sister Kate’s footsteps by choosing to go into labour at The Lindo Wing in London.
In September last year, she documented in her Waitrose Weekend fitness column how baby Arthur was attending a baby gym.

“Now that Arthur is 11 months old and more mobile, I have been trying to come up with different activities to do with him,” she wrote.
“I needed to find something more than just park walks in the pram. Our local baby gym has been a saving grace. It’s a big space full of fun, soft objects, playmats, stairs, balls, swings, mini trampolines and more to stimulate and physically engage babies and toddlers.”
Pippa and James married in 2017 at St. Mark’s Church in Engelfied, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte acting as part of the bridal party.
The newest baby will be Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’s third cousin. They also have a cousin on Prince William’s side, Archie whose parents are Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
