Yahoo Lifestyle 'The Pioneer Woman' Ree Drummond Responds to Daughter Alex's Bold Declaration About Most Recent Visit
Ree Drummond has been enjoying a nice visit from her daughter and her granddaughter—and she definitely doesn't want it to end.
Drummond, the star of Food Network's The Pioneer Woman, was visited by her daughter Alex Drummond Scott, her husband Mauricio Scott and their newborn baby girl, Sofia Marie Scott, who was born less than two months ago.
While Alex and her family—including their Golden Retriever, George—traveled to Pawhuska, Okla. to visit Drummond, the TV celebrity chef got to enjoy some quality time with her new granddaughter, her first ever grandbaby.
Alex, 27, shared a sweet photo of her mom cradling her daughter Sofia on her Instagram Story on Monday, Feb. 10, while insinuating in her caption that Drummond was going to have a hard time saying goodbye to the little one by the end of the trip.
"@thepioneerwoman is never letting us go back to Dallas," Alex wrote in her Instagram Story, to which her mom definitely agreed, taking to her own Instagram Story to reply, "Dallas schmallis!!!"
But Drummond, 56, appears to be cherishing the time she does have with her granddaughter in town, as Alex also documented Sofia's first trip to her mom's restaurant, The Pioneer Woman Mercantile, during their Oklahoma visit.
"Sofia's first Mercantile visit," Alex wrote in another Instagram Story posted on Tuesday, Feb. 11, along with a photo from inside the restaurant.
Alex—who welcomed Sofia in December 2024—is one of Drummond's five kids with husband Ladd Drummond, along with younger daughter Paige, 25, and sons Bryce, 22, Jamar, 22, and Todd, 20.
