For most concertgoers, a night in the presence of their musical fave is well worth the price of a ticket.

But one Pink fan was given an extra surprise when she gave birth at Anfield Stadium in the UK, just minutes after the singer took the stage.

Denise Jones was 36 weeks pregnant when she arrived at the show in Liverpool on Tuesday - seemingly undeterred by the ‘pressure pains’ she experienced in the days beforehand.

But soon after taking their seats at the packed arena, Denise’s niece Chloe Dryhurst said the pair realised they would be joined by another fan in a matter of moments.

"Before she was going she was fine, she got dressed all nice, everything was fine," Chloe told the BBC.

"She said once she was in there and the music started that's when she knew and it was too late then."

As Pink belted out her opening number, Get The Party Started, Denise was whisked away and gave birth to a little girl, Dolly, just 15 minutes after the commotion began.

‘Just a bit gutted I missed the concert!’

Doctor Dani Berg, who works at the stadium, later took to Twitter to tell followers of the remarkable delivery story - adding both Denise and the new addition were ‘doing amazing’.

"Mum did all the hard work, we just had to catch," she wrote.

As news of her newest fan’s arrival made its way around the globe, Pink joined in the congratulatory chorus after realising the little girl was named after her.

“Dolly Pink wanted to get the party started,” she wrote on Twitter.

Proud mum Denise explained the decision behind her new addition’s moniker, which was altered after her very unusual place of birth.

"The plan was to call her Dolly Louise but since she was born in the concert we've changed it to Dolly Pink,” she told the Liverpool Echo.

"I'm still massively in shock, just a bit gutted I missed the concert!”
