Pink Cancels Concert Hours Before Taking the Stage Due to Medical Concerns

Pink, who is currently on her Summer Carnival tour across Europe, canceled her Wednesday, July 2, concert in Bern, Switzerland, after being advised by her medical team due to concerns.

The 44-year-old took to Instagram to share a direct message with fans after the news broke, beginning by saying, "I am so sorry that I have had to cancel my show in Bern this Wednesday."

"I do everything I can to ensure I can perform for you every night, but after consultation with my doctor and exploring all options available, I’ve been advised that I’m unable to continue with the show tomorrow," she went on.

Pink told her fans that she was "looking forward to being with you and making memories with you," adding that she was "so disappointed that we have to cancel."

After noting that the tickets for the show would be refunded and sharing more information, Pink signed off with the message, "Sending love and health to you all, and I really hope to see you again soon."

Pink didn't share any details about her condition and whether or not it would affect future tour dates, with her next scheduled show on July 6 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Fans wished Pink well, sharing their love and support despite the sad news, with one saying, "You give your all every show. Rest up ❤️."

"I'm sure your heart is broken most, because you don't want to disappoint your fans. But health first!" said another, as a third commented, "Take care of you, girl. We know you would never cancel a show unless it was absolutely necessary ❤️❤️."

Early this month, Pink fought through food poisoning to go on stage and perform for her fans, showing off her dedication to her work.

The singer's tour is set to continue into November, with the European leg of the tour ending in July before she moves to North America in August.
