Abeckaser said, “Working with Arquette is always a no brainer, he adapts to any character and brings a vulnerability and likability even when you are supposed to dislike them. Daniella has been extremely impressive in all of our screen testing and I am excited to get on set and see her really dive into the role. This will be a pivotal part for her, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to direct this movie.”
The director’s recently completed crime drama Mob Cops also starring Arquette alongside Kevin Connolly, Jeremy Luke and Joseph Russ, just sold distribution to over 12 regions at the Cannes Film Festival international buyers market from South America to Europe to the Middle East this past week and will be released in the Fall in US and Canada through Lionsgate’s Grindstone Entertainment.
